Cool Pictures (part 1)

Hey guys, I was just playing Pocket God, and was playing around with some features, and then I had an idea :) I decided to take pictures of really strange/funny/cool circumstances or events in Pocket God. I did not take pictures of glitches, but instead some really original and "wacked-out" stuff! Take a look:

Now that Idles Hands 2: Caught With Your Pants Down is in the approval process, the next update in the world of pocket god is basically Jump The Shark 2 (this isn't the name, it's much, much longer :p). I am stoked about this update, and have been waiting for it ever since Surf's Up! But we still don't know all the features that are going to be in the update..... Here is a list of some commonly mentioned/long-awaited shark features that hopefully will be added:

Eating The Shark- The pygmys cook the shark, and then all eat it at the same time like vultures

Shark Vs Bird- The shark and the bird fight eachother when the bird comes down to close to the water, or goes for a pygmy that the shark it eyeing

Big Belly- We get to summon the shark underwater, and when it gets hungry, or a pygmy gets to close, the shark swims down really fast and eats the pygmy in a non-so graphic way :) (Something to do with a chum bucket, and something very weird.)

It's a bird, it's a plain, its a great white- The shark gets sucked up in the hurricane also

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Pygmy- The pygmys jump on the shark and it takes them to the volcano, and that becomes the new island for the pygmys!

Dentist Shark- The shark bites down on a burnt pygmy, and the pygmy is so hard that the shark loses all his teeth and then swims off

Spear Fishing- The shark gets speared if the pygmy dodges the shark, and the shark goes to close to the "statue", then you press it and presto...dinner :p (Thanks to malcomjudd for this idea)

Fan Art (part 4)

This first picture was created by masgroomes97, and its a picture of a ghost pygmy! That'd be an awesome update!

This next picture is s series of pygmy "people" or "characters" that have been created for comics and other things. These are great sprites if you wanna make some awesome pocket god comics.

News On Next 2 Updates

Hey guys,I was just looking through some TA posts, and my friend error found something that allan posted in the comments section on pocket blog, saying that the shark will definately be underwater, but he is looking for an interesting way to get him down there. What ways are there, that are not expected?

Also, Allan mentioned putting in an octopus or sea monster, because it is way over due! I don't know if he is planning on putting the octopus in the new island update or shark update, but either way, it's been long-awaited, and is going to be awesome!

Here is Allan's full post (thanks error):

"The update I'm working on is basically a way to get the sharks underwater (which has been requested a million times)....however, we're putting a funny spin on it i think nobody will expect. Then, we want to open up a new area. but an octopus or similiar sea monster is way overdue!"

Edit: Well it turns out the way to get the shark underwater is by using a chum bucket, that Dave and Allan are implementing as I type this ;) I like this idea, and think it is both funny, creative, and entertaining, great idea Dave and Allan!

Here's what Dave said:

Update News

Hey guys, just found some news regarding a future update of pocket god. I'm not if this passage is talking about the shark update, or the update after that with the new location, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with the shark one :)

Here's what Allan has to say:

I've just finished some art for the following update that probably will go down in history as our goofiest and most random update so far. It was inspired by a Pocket God comment we came across in the forums.

^What comment, which thread? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm off to go look through some threads, and find some more news, but before I go, check out this picture of a variation of the infinite line glitch.

Fate of the island (creatures part 1)

Just thought I'd start off with a really cool picture I found on the pocket god glitch guide.

Anyway, Hey guys, since we've talked about god powers, and new islands, I thought it was time to talk about the other animals that inhabit those islands, and what animals should inhabit them :p Here's the list of fan favorite creatures, and just some that I thought were cool:

Spider: A spider could inhabit the cave on the other side of the Dino island, and they would drop down from the ceiling, and bite a pygmy, and poisons it.

Jellyfish: Underwater, there would be a school of jellyfish, and if the pygmys "accidently" swim through them, they will get either electrocuted, or they would get tangled up and drown.

Giant Squid or Kraken: This creature would be located on Octopus island, and if you click it's icon in the menu bar, it's tenticals surface out of the water, and you can drop pygmys on the tenticals, and watch the kraken shake the pygmys/throw them/bring them underwater!

Monkey: This is a fan favorite that has been begged for since the beginning. Nothing goes more perfectly together than palm tree, island, and monkeys :) If you click the icon in the menu bar, a monkey would climb into the tree, and trough coco-nuts at the pygmys, and through poop at them (lol).

Vultures or Owls, and Mice: These scavengers would come and eat the fish and/or the dodo bird, and the pygmys! The mice would be in the cave area, and the owls would come out at night, and lastly the vultures would be in the high skies, waiting for the dodo bird to be struck by lightning.

That's all for part 1 , but there will be more creatures being featured. Hopefully some will get incorporated into pocket god!

Part 2 will consist of:

Dogs or Wolves

Aliens or Other visitors

Smokey (from lost) or Parrots

Dragon Flies or Termites
