Slow News Day...

not alot of news today. the only new thing in Pocket God is the new contest, Twitter yer Picture with Pocket God on yer iPod! ill be posting some of my entries which i will start to work on tomorrow. if you would like us to post your entries here, just send them to swigo's email.

In other news, swigo and i are working on something BIG for the blog and this project is something no one has ever done in Pocket God History. keep a lookout on our blog next week or next next week!!

Fan Art (part 6: Viewers Special 1)

Hey guys, this post is dedicated to out viewers here at The Pygmy Den! Thanks guys for e-mailing your awesome pictures to me! Check out this awesome Pocket God-related art:

This first picture was drawn by braden.cmeyla, and features a pygmy on Octopus Island, check out the drawing t see what he's thinking!

This next photo was sent in by sylux024, and it's called Sumo Smackdown! Check out how the pygmys react when a Sumo-Pygmy gets dropped down on Egg Island XD!

This next photo was made by our very own pyromaniac, oldskooler81! Check out what happens when a pygmy starts playing with fire!

This picture was created by hdgreen, and it features a "quilt" of icons that he "sewed" together! He updates this every update, so check out the PGF if you wanna keep up with this!

This last picture was created by saintsalive, but I've done a bunch of modifications to it, such as adding the ant hill, anchor, piranhas, bat, shark, fish (in the water), and the meteor. Over the next few updates, I'm gonna add the laser shark, but not the pygmys, fire, logs, spear, or fishing pole unless you guys want them! I'll post this picture with it's updates every once in a while, so stay tuned ;) The new one has been made, and will be posted soon (new location...etc...)

(What's Behind The Rocks) Poll Is Over

Hey guys, the poll for what's behind the rocks on Egg Island has ended... and the results are in! We had a record-breaking 395 votes, in only 5 days! Even with that many votes though, the votes were still scattered like crazy, take a look:

1st Place: A Cave 34%

2nd Place: Dr. Evil's HQ 14%

3rd Place: Other... 12%

4th Place: Jurassic Park 12%

5th Place: A Kraken/Octopus 10%

6th Place: Jack Sparrow 7%

7th Place: Atlantis Marine World :) 4%

8th Place (Last): A Ditch/Hole 3%

Even though we now know that it is going to be a graveyard-like scene, with zombies, it's funny how 34% of us thought it was going to be a cave! It looks like the 12% of us that picked other were correct, but who knows if any of them actually guessed graveyard...

Malcom's Dual Reviews!

hey guys! i didnt expect this Report until, like, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. but thats good coz Apple might be back delaying apps again because of the Apple Event.

ok review time. first, the icon looks awesome! i liked this icon better than SWFLATTH. this icon tells us some nice things. what nice things? hints! the new location will have SOIL for its ground, some kind of eerie background and the ancient grave seal is so cool....

yes! my theories are true! the brain eating, thriller dancing, burying alive to zombie thing is REAL!! woot. dave said there will be a tree with a giant web for a spider in a future update? nice. i wonder what this tree would look like. i hope its a big creepy leafless tree. so you cant touch the zombies at all? all they do is eat and dance? is that a good thing or a bad thing? for me its kinda a bad thing. i will look forward to this update because of two great things. the new island and the Thriller Dance!

if dave's going to put DCLs in the game, better put it free/.99 or else some people wont buy OR they would absolutely hate it coz they dont have money for DCLs. maybe if youre going to make it free, make it a challenge. it could be like, To buy this item, you must first be a Shark Blast God! i cant wait for customizing the island but this update sounds like it will be the last of the PG Updates.

Pocket God 2? no! not yet. maybe next year would be the perfect time to do it. if you guys are going to make the updates 3 to 4 weeks long, i hope the reason is good coz people will be disappointed. i wonder what the secret project is. maybe its the one they told us months back. or hopefully the Pocket God: Suicide Squad thing. im telling you guys, make it a promotional game!

Dave, why does your report sound like the end of Pocket God is near? :-O

PS: no! my adobe photoshop and flash got EXPIRED for some reason. i got the full version! why did it expire! that means i wont be able to make some art for a while. :(

Zombie Invasion!

Hey guys, Dave's new State of the Island came out, and it sheds some light on the new update, the future of Pocket God, and future updates! In it, he talks about what's in the newest update (Dead Pygmy Walking), and he also mentions how a spider will be added soon! He also talks about Pocket God 2, and a special/new project that he is going to start with Allan very soon! Then he ends his post by talking about customizable Pocket God, being one of the last updates (not any time soon, don't worry :) ), and designing your own Island, tree, rocks, spears, etc...
